I recently purchased this for my fiancee and it was quite a suprise.
The good part about it is that it isn't too big or gawdy, but small and has the right amount of weight to it.
Yes, the turtles are sterling silver although I'm not sure if real onyx is used for the ball. But in any event, it doesn't take away from the product at all.
My only complaint was that while it comes with a nice chain that is quality silver, the chain itself is entirely too short. Somewhere between 14-15 rather than the traditional 18.

This was the first time I brought a necklace on the internet and I was very scared of what I was getting. But when it came, I was very pleased. The ball is a nice size round. About the size of a dime only in 3D. The chain is just right. Not to long that it hides in my shirt and not to short that it is choking me. It's about 16 inches. The turtles are just plain old cute!
I only wish I can find ear rings to match now.
