Great gift for my mum Feb 21, 2010
My mum has a few fossils and other watches, this watch was a birthday gift, ifs quite sleek, slim and has a big dial making it easy to see the time. She quite likes it and its good value at amazon, about 30-50% cheaper than local retailers.

Classy, Elegant, Goes with Everything Sep 29, 2009
This watch is lovely and goes with everything that I own. The gold tone is not excessively bright - but actually subtle - you may not notice it is gold except in direct light. The mesh band is very study and finely woven. A great buy!
Review Post Script after 6 months of Everday Wearing:
Since this watch has a very classic style, I have found myself wearing it every single day and am now itching to purchase another Skagen! The watch has held up surprisingly well - a few tiny scratches on the face is pretty much all the damage that it has gone through. The watch is also water resistant, so I don't have to take it off when washing my hands. I have needed to order a new band. My dog managed to bite through this one! The replacement band was about $24 including shipping. The only downside is that it is going to take up to 3 weeks to arrive on my doorstep.

As good as other Skagen watches Jun 29, 2009
I own two Skagen watches myself, but my wife never had one. She owns 6-8 watches altogether. I gave her this one for Christmas 6 months ago. She now wears it everywhere except the gym. Her other watches are collecting dust. Skagen makes elegant watches at an amazing price.

For a realitively inexpensive watch, this really looks classy and very chic. I own an expensive Raymond Weil watch and wanted something for "other" occasions. This fit the bill perfectly. It has crystals markers at the minute points that give it an upscale look. The stainless mesh is lightweight and transitions easily for both casual and dressy situations. The silver and gold lets you have versitilty with your jewelry choices. The Skagen watch quality is very good. My kid are all wearing Skagens (teens thru 20's). You will be pleased with this one!
