I usually love Skagens and I bought this one because I wanted a bigger watch - it is HUGE and heavy, even more so than a regualr men's watch. I had to send it back and I'm not sure what female would be able to wear it.

I love the look of the watch, the crystals add a nice sparkle to the face. I did not find it to be that large of a watch or exceptionally heavy and I have a very small wrist (I can wrap my thumb and pointer finger around my wrist and they touch). It is definitely not dainty though. My only complaint is the dial with the date is extremely hard to read, I kind of wish they had left off the 24 hour dial and made the date dial bigger. Also, the big watch hands do glow in the dark, but the number markers do not so it is a little difficult to tell what time it is in the middle of the night when I am groggy. Not annoying enough for me to return it however because I like the rest of the watch so much. I also really like the safety on the clasp, it keeps it from coming undone if it gets caught on something, a problem that I had with a previous watch.

We purchased this watch as a Christmas gift for our 27 year old daughter. It is absolutely beautiful. We had to take a few links out for it to fit. It was not too hard to do.
