My Purchase Experience May 18, 2010

This was my first purchase on Amazon, and I have to say I was pretty happy. I got it really fast and it really is aesthetically pleasing for the eyes. Only thing is, it's slightly big for my wrist, so make sure the band Length : women standard is suitable for you. Otherwise there's nothing you can do about shortening the band because of the watch's model.

I bought this watch as a gift and now I'm not sure I feel good about giving it. The watch face is pretty and sturdy. But the chains on band are different lengths and the fasteners holding the chains are crooked. It bugs me, but it isn't too noticeable when the watch is on. The band is meant to be like a bangle bracelet, but since it is not adjustable (and I'm giving this to a petite woman) I'm afraid it will slip off. I rate it 2 stars for quality, and got it on [...] for $[...] so gave it one extra star for a good price.

Our daughter bought this watch for my wife. It is different from any similar antique-style watches that we see. She gets many compliments on its appearance, and it keeps decent time. The watch does not seem to require a lot of rewinding. It was a successful gift.

The only problem with this watch is that the clasp is very difficult to slip through to close. I will take it to a jeweler for a replacement clasp. Other than this small problem it is beautiful and will look wonderful on my sister-in-law.
